As an integral part of the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients cleanroom facilities, playing a crucial role in the successful production and delivery of spacecraft missions. Key Responsibilities

Cleanroom & Logistics Management

Oversee the maintenance and operation of the cleanroom, loading bay, bridges, and AIT containers.
Manage the allocation of workspace to ensure conflict-free operations.
Coordinate spacecraft thermal chamber use.
Ensure compliance with cleanroom procedures for all contractors and personnel.
Maintain storage areas for flight hardware and manage offsite storage logistics.
Track, organise, and maintain AIT inventory, ensuring obsolete equipment is disposed of efficiently.
Oversee the allocation of EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment).Equipment & Maintenance Oversight

Ensure proper functioning of tools, test equipment, and consumables.
Coordinate calibration of test and torque tools.
Supervise lifting equipment inspections and facilitate onsite servicing and repairs.
Act as the main point of contact for facility servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
Monitor and replenish cleanroom consumables.Health, Safety & Compliance

Maintain AIT access lists and conduct cleanroom induction training.
Ensure compliance with COSHH, lifting, and gas safety regulations.
Maintain risk assessments and health & safety records.
Enforce best working practices and ensure cleanroom areas remain tidy and safe.General Logistical & Administrative Support

Develop and maintain cleanroom processes and procedures.
Order AIT non-flight equipment as required.
Operate forklift and overhead crane for loading/unloading equipment.
Assist with small mechanical construction tasks.
Ensure appropriate training for cleanroom users. 
What We're Looking For

Experience & Knowledge:

Prior experience in a cleanroom or engineering laboratory environment.
Background in electrical, mechanical, or laboratory technician work.
Familiarity with machine shop tooling is a plus.
Experience working with risk assessments, COSHH, lifting equipment, pressure systems, and gas safety regulations.
Understanding of planning, scheduling, and budgeting in a technical environment.Qualifications & Skills:

BTEC OND/ONC/NVQ in electrical, electronic, or general engineering (or equivalent experience).
Strong practical and hands-on abilities.
Highly organised with strong planning and time-management skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively across teams.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel VBA is an advantage).
Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends during peak project times.
Full, clean driving licence.
Forklift and overhead crane certifications (desirable, but training can be provided).
