Job Title: Database Architect
Location: Burgess Hill UK
Employment Type: Permanent
(Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office)

Join a leading global technology consulting firm as a Database Architect for a major financial client. This exciting opportunity involves designing and overseeing complex databases, working with cutting-edge technologies like SQL Server and NoSQL (e.g., Couchbase, Cassandra). You'll play an instrumental role in delivering innovative solutions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems.
Work closely with the team to create efficient and scalable database solutions.
Ensure optimal performance and troubleshooting across systems.
Collaborate with Agile teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Utilize DevOps tools including Git, Terraform, Ansible, and Liquibase.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with SQL Server and NoSQL (Couchbase, Cassandra).
Expertise in Agile (Jira, Rally, Kanban).
Proficient with Azure, Docker, Git, Terraform, Ansible.
Familiarity with Azure Cloud Architecture, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Architecture, ARM, and Azure App Service.
