About The Role
As the Chief Technology Architect at Cala Homes, you will play a hands-on and pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of innovative technology strategies and architectural designs that will drive our business forward. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with our business goals.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing a cohesive technology blueprint that supports our growth and positions Cala Homes as a leader in the house building industry.
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy and blueprint.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of architecture designs across all technology sub-teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies and platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the technology team.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of technology solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the technology function.
  • Manage relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to keep Cala Homes at the forefront of technology.
    About The Candidate
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proven experience in a senior technology architecture role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
    • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills with proven experience of developing technical staff.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
    • Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
    • Relevant certifications in technology architecture or related fields are a plus.
