About the Role:
Are you an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect with a passion for cloud technologies? Our client is looking for you! In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in a hybrid multi-cloud environment. Your expertise will help shape the cloud strategy while working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.

Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience as an Enterprise Cloud Architect with hands-on expertise in Azure and GCP.
Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Expertise in designing hybrid multi-cloud solutions and implementing Identity and Access Management.
Familiarity with TOGAF and Zachman methodologies.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
Knowledge of cloud security best practises and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of transformative capabilities that drive change.
Foster collaboration across IT departments to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategy.
Take a strategic approach across all architectural domains, providing guidance on business, technology, and data decisions.
Establish and enhance architectural principles, policies, and standards.
Identify emerging trends and their potential impact on the organisation.
Design cloud solutions that comply with business and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and best practises.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues with innovative solutions.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to architects and cloud engineers.

Qualifications:

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect) are highly desirable.
Knowledge of ECB/DORA standards applicable to financial institutions is a plus.
