Warehouse Operative / JCB Driver – Immediate Start Available - Are you seeking a role that offers stability, growth, and a supportive work environment? This permanent position offers an immediate start, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, and a competitive pay rate of £12.77 per hour (£26,561.60 per annum).

    Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a multi-skilled warehouse team to ensure efficient departmental operations.
  • Unload deliveries and place items in designated bin locations.
  • Conduct checks on incoming goods and report any quality control issues.
  • Load containers and trailers safely and correctly, following established procedures.
  • Maintain a tidy and rubbish-free yard.
  • Perform daily checks on the JCB using the T100 system and report any issues.
  • Pick orders accurately.
  • Provide cover for team members during holidays or sickness, ensuring all warehouse tasks are completed.
  • Act as a Yard Banksman.
  • Undertake internal production tasks such as gutter forming and polythene re-reeling.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse or Yard Operative is essential.
  • Comfortable working in external conditions, with full workwear provided.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A reliable and dependable team player.
  • Proficiency in English and Mathematics.
  • Counterbalance FLT and JCB licences are desirable, though training will be provided.
