Our internationally renowned and family owned manufacturing company have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with an FLT license to join their team!

As the Warehouse Operative you will work across the warehouse and despatch functions and your role will include the following;

• Undertake and conduct admin tasks and other warehouse functions associated with onsite production
  
  
• Storage, picking and dispatching of products/orders
  
  
• Unload and load vehicles and containers.
  
  
• Check and examine products prior to dispatch.
  
  
• Locate products in warehouse and ensure products are labelled and identified
  
  
• Inspect correct items and quantities that have been picked using product codes and descriptions on pick lists
  
  
• Follow relevant procedures for packing and dispatching UK, European and export orders
  
  
• Operate mechanical handling equipment, tools and machinery as trained and authorised and in accordance with safe working practices and operating procedures
  
  The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following experience;
  
  
• Experience with operating a machine
  
  
• Confident communication skills
  
  
• In date and accredited Forklift License (Counterbalance) and Flexi
  
  
• Demonstrate adequate experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook to fulfil the role. Experience working with SAGE
  
  
• Experience of online portal usage for booking third party transport an advantage
  
  
• Manual Handling
  
  
• Can work alone and use initiative but also a team player who can help and support others.
  
  
• Full Clean Driving License.
  
  As the Warehouse Operator you will work Monday to Friday, days, 7.15am-4.30pm and till 12.15pm on a Friday. The salary is £25,979 per annum.
