Automation Tester – Birmingham, WEst Midlands - Hybrid – Up to £45k

Looking for a role where you can truly influence testing strategy and make a real impact from day one? If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being a key part of project delivery, this could be the QA Engineer role  for you.

A forward-thinking Software House in Birmingham is expanding its tech delivery function and is on the hunt for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated QA Manager, helping to shape, refine, and drive the test strategy across multiple projects.
They're not starting from scratch, the automation frameworks is already in place, but they’re looking for someone with ‘real attention to detail’ to champion quality early in the development process and embed best practices across the board.
 
Core experience for this Automation Tester:

Solid hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript
Familiarity with SQL, API automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Passion for test strategy and quality-first development
Ant previous experience as a developer or exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure would be advantageous
