Our client are seeking an Azure Cloud Support Engineer to manage and support cloud deployments, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure operations. You will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated issues while developing tools and automation to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a third-line support engineer, resolving complex cloud and application issues.

  • Monitor Azure resources, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain scripts (SQL, C#) for troubleshooting and automation.

  • Oversee Azure deployments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost optimisation.

  • Collaborate with development and support teams, documenting fixes and best practices.

    Key Skills

    Essential

  • Proven experience in third-line support or cloud troubleshooting.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including monitoring tools and cost optimisation.

  • Expertise in SQL and C# for debugging, scripting, and issue resolution.

  • Experience supporting B2B Azure Cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar tools.

    Desirable

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform).

  • Knowledge of hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

  • Understanding of ITIL practices for incident and change management.

    Key Attributes

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle critical incidents.

  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly.

  • Self-motivated, service-driven, and thrives on troubleshooting challenges.

  • Security-conscious, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

  • Willingness to work out of hours if required.
