To further our expansion, we are now recruiting for a new DevOps Platform Engineer to align to our direct-to-consumer development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping deliver continuous improvement for our award-winning client facing applications.

What does the job involve?

  • Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement and building a high-performance engineering team

  • To guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products

  • Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to deliver scalable solutions

  • Contribute to the design, management & maintenance of our AWS hosted infrastructure covering our dev, UAT and production environments.

  • Hands on with the ability to have direct impact on the future of our products and platforms

  • You will be working closely with other engineers across development, architecture and devOps

  • Provide a resilient, scalable and secure platform

  • Problem management and root cause analysis

  • Appreciation of costs management, actively monitoring monthly cloud spend

    Competence, Knowledge and Skills

  • Containerisation (Docker and AWS ECS or similar)

  • Linux and Windows, with emphasis on scripting and automation.

  • Automation tools, focusing on deployments through CodeBuild and CodePipeline.

  • AWS-based capacity and performance logging and monitoring solutions.

  • Experience in architecting and building solutions to support highly available and scalable web sites, mobile apps and public APIs.
