Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

This role ensures the health and evolution of our IT infrastructure estate.
You’ll manage both cloud and locally hosted environments.
Your future team will support national infrastructure across key engineering programmes.

⚡️ Manage endpoints, servers, mobile devices, and storage infrastructure
⚡️ Administer Azure environments, including provisioning and storage configurations
⚡️ Support Microsoft 365 tenant setup, licensing and administration
⚡️ Deploy virtual machines and configure hypervisors across environments
⚡️ Troubleshoot Office 365 and mobile device technical issues
⚡️ Assist with cloud-based collaboration tools (PowerBI, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
⚡️ Maintain documentation for procedures, changes, and system states
⚡️ Monitor system performance and enforce IT compliance standards

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

🛠 Essential Skills

🛠 5+ years' experience in infrastructure or system administration
🛠 Hands-on experience with Azure and M365 environments
🛠 Able to manage and deploy endpoints, VMs, and cloud services
🛠 Skilled in Microsoft Office and mobile device support
🛠 Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure performance monitoring abilities
🛠 Experience with VM hypervisors and cloud-based provisioning
🛠 Knowledge of collaboration platforms like PowerBI and GitHub
🛠 Ability to document procedures and maintain IT compliance

✔️ Desired Skills

✔️ Microsoft “Fundamentals” and Azure, Power Platform, or Data accreditations
✔️ Knowledge of VMware systems and templates
✔️ Familiarity with SolarWinds or similar IT tools
✔️ Understanding of Azure DevOps environments
✔️ ITIL Certification or equivalent process framework
