We are recruiting for a Solutions Architect with a software development background. They will have experience within a consultancy or similar experience as a contractor working on leading edge technologies to drive business improvement and successful growth within technical change and transformation.
Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and contribute insights to help organizations enhance their agility in response to dynamic market changes.
  • Contribute to impactful projects, launching award-winning Internet of Things platforms, and developing systems for tracking clinical trials.
  • Utilize your passion for leading-edge technologies to drive real-world impact.
  • Design and deliver cutting-edge business solutions from CXO level to delivery, leveraging hands-on experience.
  • Serve as a technical leader, supporting and leading FTSE 100 clients in production software development.
  • Access the latest training and certifications, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with extensive courses and mentoring programs available to the business.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements to maintain work-life balance.
    Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in providing technical leadership across application, business, and integration architectures.
  • Comfortable across all architecture domains with specialisation in at least one of the following:
    • Architecture domain
    • Business domain (e.g., CRM, eCommerce)
    • Across Sectors
    • Technologies/vendors
  • Experience in conducting solution options assessment, including product selection and analysis of patterns and sourcing approaches.
  • Ability to deliver strategic thinking to stakeholders through Architecture Roadmaps, mentoring, and technical thought leadership.
  • Proficiency in architecture modelling tools and frameworks such as UML, ArchiMate, etc.
  • Understanding of the commercial, people, and organisational aspects of architectural work.
  • Deep knowledge of technologies worked with, with exposure to emerging technologies and architectural trends including:
    • Microservices vs Packaged Solutions
    • Cloud vs On-premises
    • Digital transformation enablement
    • Cloud architectures, with experience in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
    • Familiarity with a broad span of vendors: IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, etc.
    • Understanding the architect's role in agile delivery
    • Internet of Things concepts
