Cross-functional collaboration - work closely with business architects, application architects, and data specialists to align infrastructure with organisational goals. What you’ll be doing:

Designing scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure that supports large-scale data processing.
Defining the hosting strategy - guiding decisions on SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Collaborating with third-parties to ensure robust, secure infrastructure governance.
Optimising infrastructure costs - working towards a single Azure tenancy and minimising data movement expenses.
Ensuring compliance with security standards and managing infrastructure governance documentation.
Leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Influencing architecture strategy - contributing to technical review boards and questioning key infrastructure decisions. What we’re looking for:

3+ years experience working within Architectural setting
Strong Infrastructure Architecture experience, ideally within a data-heavy or regulated environment (e.g. finance, utilities, insurance).
Azure expertise - experience designing cloud solutions for high-availability, security, and cost efficiency.
Knowledge of TOGAF (certification is a plus, but not essential) - ability to apply enterprise architecture principles in practice.
Experience working with third-party service providers, ensuring security and governance standards are met.
Strong ability to challenge technical decisions, create strategic roadmaps, and influence stakeholders.
Understanding of identity management, single sign-on, and infrastructure governance.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is desirable. * The successful candidate may have come from a Cloud specialist role or Infrastructure Manager role, wanting to focus more on the architecture and strategy side of their role. * 

Benefits package:

£55,000 - £60,000 salary, depending on experience
Up to 12% pension contribution
