Technical Web Manager – No Man Management Responsibilities

Hybrid: Two days in any of our client's offices (London, Duxford or Manchester) and three days working from home.

Technical Web Manager Key Skills:

We are eager to connect with aspiring Technical Web Managers and other professionals in similar roles, such as Web Infrastructure Managers, Web Operations Managers, Web Services Managers, Web Platform Managers, and other versatile professionals with a broad understanding of web ecosystems and infrastructure. To thrive in this position, you should bring many of the following:

-    Experience managing web technologies and infrastructure across different environments.

-    Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based services.

-    Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server management.

-    Experience in API Management.

-    Familiarity with MySQL, Elastic Search, or SOLR.

-    Understanding of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

-    Some exposure to Docker or other containerization technologies.

-    Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automation.

-    A keen interest in AI applications and emerging technologies.

-    Awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

-    Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to performance optimization.

-   Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

About the Technical Web Manager position:

You'll join a dynamic team where no two days are alike. This role offers significant scope for creativity and personal growth, perfect for someone with around 4-5 years of relevant experience who's still hungry to learn and explore new territories.

You won't be pigeonholed; instead, you'll have space to expand your capabilities across multiple domains.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting a diverse web technology ecosystem while helping envision its future evolution.
Managing APIs and integrations across various platforms and services.
Overseeing server infrastructure with an eye toward optimization and modernization.
Enhancing search functionality to improve user experience across digital platforms.
Collaborating on automated testing and quality assurance processes.
Working with development teams to refine deployment workflows.
Contributing to security improvements alongside specialized teams.
Helping implement decoupled architecture approaches for greater flexibility.
Creating clear documentation and knowledge-sharing resources.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: To £60,000

Hybrid: Two days in any of our client's offices (London, Duxford or Manchester) and three days working from home.
