Job Type: Bendi Forklift driver
Contract length: Temp to perm
Pay: up to £12.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Brook Street are currently looking for an experienced warehouse operative with a bendi forklift licence to join our client based in Sittingbourne.

As a warehouse operative you will be supporting with the logistics managers to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouses day to day running.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) and Bendi trucks safely and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) and Bendi truck licences.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and safety.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established logistics company and the right candidate will have the opportunity to go from temp to per.

Successful candidates will need to hold a valid bendi forklift licence.
