Linux Operations Engineer

  • Old Trafford / Trafford Park, Manchester (onsite)

  • c£45,000 per annum

  • Plus excellent company benefits

    The Opportunity:

    Join a dynamic operations team where you'll be responsible for maintaining servers, handling support requests and scaling systems to ensure smooth operations where systems are a combination of open source and bespoke software running on the Linux platforms. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

    Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Linux skills (CentOS/Alma preferred)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and source information

  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages

  • Experience managing large-scale servers

  • Knowledge of VPS and dedicated server hosting

  • Windows desktop management and InTune MDM

  • Familiarity with tools like Puppet, Terraform, Atlassian, Microsoft 365 is preferred

  • Experience with AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty, or monitoring tools is preferred
